He moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to study Culinary Arts and management. <\/span><span data-markjs=\"true\" class=\"outlook-search-highlight\">Angel<\/span><span> worked in many restaurants in Fort Lauderdale and Miami as a sous-chef, baker, and in other kitchen management positions. <\/span><span data-markjs=\"true\" class=\"outlook-search-highlight\">Angel<\/span><span> worked and served in many capacities in South Florida, as a night shelter program for the homeless, HIV prevention educator, and youth pastor. He also served in Latine ministries and young adult ministries. <\/span><span data-markjs=\"true\" class=\"outlook-search-highlight\">Angel<\/span><span> became a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist, specializing in trauma and opiate addiction and worked in mental health crisis management. He answered a call to serve the church in New Mexico and southwest Texas in January 2021 as the Diocesan Missioner for Youth and Young Adults and Camp Stoney programs director for the Diocese of the Rio Grande. <\/span><span data-markjs=\"true\" class=\"outlook-search-highlight\">Angel<\/span><span> is currently a full-time seminarian at the Episcopal Theological seminary of the Southwest, MDiv class of 2026. <\/span><span data-markjs=\"true\" class=\"outlook-search-highlight\">Angel<\/span><span> is a Life professed <\/span><span data-markjs=\"true\" class=\"outlook-search-highlight\">Br<\/span><span>other of the <\/span><span data-markjs=\"true\" class=\"outlook-search-highlight\">Br<\/span><span>otherhood of St. Gregory an Episcopal community of friars.\u00a0 <\/span><span data-markjs=\"true\" class=\"outlook-search-highlight\">Angel<\/span><span>also serves as a member of the Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music (SCLM) on the commission\u2019s Calendar Subcommittee, and on the Council for Safe Church &amp;
