2026 Resolutions

Now accepting draft resolutions for the 2026 Diocesan Convention

Resolutions to be proposed to the 177th Diocesan Convention should be sent to the chair of the Committee on Resolutions, Dave Frangquist, frangquist@acm.org. The deadline for submission is July 25, 2026. Resolutions may be offered by any resident cleric; elected lay delegate or alternate; or any parish, mission, deanery, or other officially recognized diocesan organization. They should follow the format given on the DioCal Convention Submitting Resolutions webpage. If you’re not sure how to write a resolution, don’t worry about it. Just give it your best shot, and the committee will help you refine your resolution. This FAQ document may help you understand how the resolutions process works.

Please do not send proposed canon changes to the Committee on Resolutions. Canon changes should be submitted to the Secretary of the Convention, secretary@diocal.org, for transmission to the Committee on Canons (also by July 19, 2025).
